Market Analysis gives you a big-picture view of federal spending. It has six tabs: Trends, Shares, Categories, Maps, Vehicle Rankings and Awardee Rankings. The filters you add apply to the analysis, so you can focus on exactly the market you care about.
Good to know
Some tabs pull large amounts of data and can take 10–30 seconds to load, so give them a moment.

FAQ
What is the difference between contracts and subcontracts?
Contracts are prime awards made by a federal agency directly to a contractor. Subcontracts are awards a prime contractor makes to another company under a prime award. On the Trends tab, use the Type dropdown to switch between them.
Why is a tab taking a while to load?
Some tabs process a lot of data and can take 10–30 seconds. Give them a moment.
Why does Maps say "Analysis unavailable... select fewer fiscal years"?
Large ranges (for example, 5 years) can time out. Choose fewer fiscal years and the map will load.
What is the "Other" tile or row?
Shares and the Rankings tabs show the top 10 individually and group everything else into Other. Vehicle Rankings also has an Unclassified row.
How do I export data?
Click Export on the Trends tab to download CSV, Excel or an Image. The Maps tab also has an Export button.
